	When the steerer tube on the new fork is longer than is necessary, it needs to be shortened to the adequate length. The cutting guide ensures a straight and accurate cut on the steerer tube with dimensions 1” or 1.1/8”. Clamp the steerer tube into the cutting guide. Move the guide so that its opening is above the marked part of the tube and gently tighten the bolt. Clamp the cutting guide together with the secured fork into a vice on the work table. Saw the forks using a saw (product no. 750) through the notch in the guide. Compactly and precisely manufactured housing does not leave scratch marks on the steerer tube.
