All car lovers were at least for a part of Friday, Saturday or Sunday at Rogla, where big international hill climb was held. Unior d.d. was a sponsor of this great event too.
From Friday 20th till 22nd June 2008 Rogla was offering the best drivers of hill climb. Given the importance of the race in a broader international, Slovenian and Austrian context, and based on the experience of the previous years, we hosted the participation of over 130 drivers from ten different countries. The list also includes the best of the best who fighted it out for the overall victory and the titles in individual championships. In addition to prominent names, however, there was a high quality, diverse range of racing cars including Formula and prototypes. The race took place at this popular location for the sixth time. It hosted the following competitions: International FIA Hill Climb Challenge, FIA European Hill Climb CUP, Slovenian National Championship, Austrian National Championship and Austrian Historic Hill Climb Championship.
After all three races the fastest among the drivers was Hermann Waldy, before Marietto Nalon and Alexander Zajelšnik. The Slovenian National Championship won Milan Bubnič, Samo Valant was the second and Sašo Horvat was the third.
