Unior d.d. is a globally oriented company which was founded in 1919 with the purpose to fulfil the demands which arose from the production of agricultural and forestry manual tools. After 1970 Unior spread and started to penetrate with its products on the world market more and more.
Because of the developmental trends of the Forgings programme, works SINTER was established in 1974. In addition to this, in 2008 the Sinter programme received the status of an independent program within Unior whose competitiveness is reflected in its own tool workshop and the short delivery time for demanding sintered parts and their complexes of topmost quality.
88 employees are currently employed in our production. The turnover of the Sinter programme in 2007 was 5, 3 million Euros. However, in 2008 we expect the growth of sale to approximately 6, 8 million Euros and the increase of employees to 96.
The advantages of parts made of metal dust are the following: advantageous solutions for expenses, improved formative lines of the product and the long-lasting and reliable functioning on the critical area of use which is the result of:
- the fact that in the production process of forming nearly the perfect form only little waste material is left,
- material flexibility,
- smaller weight,
- mechanical flexibility,
- the removal or reduction of additional mechanical operations to the minimum because of smaller deviations and high quality of the surface.
